We were delighted to have been chosen as the venue for this amazing show. With their roots firmly planted in folk tradition, Australian award-winning band The Mae Trio are a breath of fresh air on the contemporary folk scene. Incorporating stellar three-part harmonies, complex arrangements and lyrical sophistication, these youngsters are on a rapid rise.
The night brought an incredible level of folk talent to the Byre as Dougie took to the stage for the first half and introduced The Mae Trio for the second, ending with a shared song with all the artists joining together. A packed house of nearly 250 cheered to the rafters.
